KSA orders bet365 to improve affordability checks in the Netherlands

Enforcement & compliance

The Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) issued bet365 a binding instruction over its handling of player affordability risks, citing deficiencies between December 2024 and June 2025. The regulator said the operator used player questionnaires despite earlier warnings and miscalculated some deposit limits; bet365 disputes the allegations and is contesting the instruction.

Operators should review affordability procedures and evidence, as bet365 disputes the KSA’s binding instruction over checks and deposit limits.
