What we collect

Only what you send us through a form: your email address for the newsletter, and the name, organisation, email and message you include in a media-kit or correction request. We do not run advertising trackers or sell personal data.

How we use it

Newsletter addresses are used only to send the newsletter. Request details are used only to answer that request. Form submissions are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

Reader accounts

If you create an account we store your email address, what you follow (desks, markets, companies, regulators), your digest frequency, and when you signed up and last signed in. Sign-in uses a one-time emailed link; we keep a hash of each link for 15 minutes and do not store passwords. While signed in, a single strictly necessary cookie (twe_s, HttpOnly, Secure, 30 days) keeps your session; it is not used for tracking. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from your account page; deletion is immediate and also removes your newsletter subscription.

On your device

The site stores a few preferences in your browser’s local storage (for example, whether you have dismissed a prompt or already subscribed) and keeps a copy of recent pages for offline reading. These never leave your device.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time, or ask us to access or delete your data by emailing [email protected]. Last updated 18 October 2026.
