KSA asks land-based licensees to report signs of illegal gambling

Enforcement & compliance

The Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has asked land-based gambling licensees in the Netherlands to report indications of illegal gambling, according to a reported email to those businesses. The regulator cited possible signs including invitations to illegal poker tournaments and reports of gambling outside licensed channels; it also asked licensees to complete a survey of up to five minutes.

The request gives land-based licensees a role in identifying suspected illegal gambling for the KSA.
