KSA warns SkyHills logo videos may lead to fines

Enforcement & compliance

The Kansspelautoriteit said posting videos featuring SkyHills branding can be penalised because it constitutes advertising for an unlicensed online casino in the Netherlands. Spokeswoman Marloes Derks said the warning applies even when users share the videos as a joke; the regulator had previously imposed a penalty payment order on streamer Leftlanepapi, who stopped promoting the site in YouTube streams.

People posting the videos risk penalties for advertising an unlicensed gambling site, including when they say the posts are jokes.
