PointsBet enters Alberta registration process ahead of iGaming market launch

Licences & markets

PointsBet Canada entered Alberta’s provincial registration process this week, the company said, as the province prepares to open its iGaming market. The process allows the operator to begin marketing and customer outreach before a full launch expected later in 2026.

Registration gives PointsBet an opportunity to market to Alberta residents before the market fully opens.
