Coolbet plans Alberta exit ahead of regulated iGaming launch

Licences & markets

Coolbet will end service in Alberta ahead of the province’s regulated commercial iGaming market launch on 13 July, according to a notice on the company’s website. It has stopped accepting new registrations and deposits; access will end on 12 July, and customers can withdraw remaining balances until 31 August. Coolbet said regulatory changes prompted the exit.

Coolbet’s exit removes its services from Alberta before the regulated market opens.
