AGCO outlines licensing requirements for Ontario cannabis retailers

Licences & markets

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) says cannabis retail operators need licences, store authorisations and, in most cases, a retail manager licence to open and sell recreational cannabis. Retail employees must complete an AGCO Board-approved training programme before their first day of work.

Retailers must meet licensing and staff-training requirements before operating cannabis stores in Ontario.
