AGCO issues Ontario racetrack licences for 2026 racing

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission says licences have been issued to the Standardbred, Kawartha Downs and Rideau Carleton Raceway associations. Leamington Raceway’s licence issuance remains pending. Race-date recommendations for April to December 2026 are expected to go to the registrar for approval in the coming weeks.

The licences determine which named racetrack associations are approved to operate in the upcoming period.
