AGCO outlines Ontario cannabis retailers’ standards and legal requirements

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) says holders of a Retail Operator Licence must meet its standards, which also apply to Retail Manager Licence holders unless stated otherwise. Cannabis retailers are additionally subject to provincial and federal legislation, including Ontario’s Cannabis Licence Act, 2018 and the federal Cannabis Act, 2018.
Cannabis retailers must account for AGCO standards as well as the listed provincial and federal laws.
