AGCO outlines online licensing process for Ontario thoroughbred racing

Licences & markets

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) requires people and businesses participating in thoroughbred racing to hold licences. Since 2 March 2020, horse-racing licence applications and other transactions have been handled online through iAGCO, and paper applications are not accepted.

The process establishes how racing participants and racetrack operators must apply for and maintain licences in Ontario.
