Licences & markets

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) sets out how organisations can apply for charitable gaming lottery licences. Applicants may need charitable gaming eligibility (CGE), and can submit that application with their lottery licence application; stand-alone raffle licences issued by the Registrar carry a fee of 1% of the prize board.

The guidance identifies the eligibility process, licensing authority and fee relevant to charities planning lottery events.
