AGCO sets conditions for Ontario bring-your-own-wine endorsement

Licences & markets

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission says holders of a valid liquor sales licence can apply to let restaurant or banquet-room patrons bring commercially made wine for personal consumption. The licensee or an employee must open and serve the wine, and the endorsement cannot be combined with a caterer’s endorsement; there is no application fee.

The conditions determine whether Ontario venues can offer patrons the option to bring their own wine.
