TAR Lazio annuls ADM acts on 2023-2024 bingo concession extensions

Regulation

TAR Lazio ruled in two cases that the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency’s acts implementing paid extensions of bingo concessions for 2023-2024 were invalid. The court annulled the relevant notices and said ADM must recalculate compensation using operators’ actual revenues, benefits and costs.

Bingo concessionaires’ payments for the extension period must be recalculated rather than set at a fixed amount.
