TAR Lazio annuls ADM charges for bingo extensions in 2023–2024

Regulation

TAR Lazio annulled ADM acts requiring a bingo concessionaire to pay a charge increased by 15% for the 2023–2024 extension period, according to a judgment published on 11 May 2026. The court relied on EU law concerning concession extensions without a new tender; the source says operators must still pay an indemnity, with the amount to be determined rather than imposed as a uniform fixed charge.

The ruling changes how ADM must assess charges owed by bingo operators continuing under technical extensions.
