Enforcement & compliance

Italy's Council of State rejected an online gambling concessionaire's appeal and upheld a €5,000 penalty imposed by ADM over failures to supervise a retail recharge point in Palermo. The court said the concessionaire had direct responsibility for inadequate oversight and organisation, and found the penalty proportionate within the stated €1,000 to €50,000 range.
