Council of State upholds €100 weekly PVR top-up limit in Stake case
Italy’s Council of State rejected the Customs and Monopolies Agency’s appeal and partly upheld Stake Italy’s cross-appeal in a dispute over rules for online gambling account top-up points. The court confirmed the weekly €100 cap on cash and other non-validated top-ups, while ruling that the register rules could not be applied early to concessionaires operating under technical extensions.
The ruling preserves a weekly top-up cap while delaying application of register rules to concessionaires on technical extensions.
