Italy’s Council of State rejects concessionaire challenge to betting-site migration
Italy’s Council of State rejected a concessionaire’s appeal against ADM concerning the transfer of two betting collection points to another concessionaire. The court held that a regularised data transmission centre retained the right to collect bets and could choose its concessionaire; the former concessionaire had no right to oppose the migration.
The ruling clarifies that a former concessionaire cannot veto a regularised betting centre’s move to another operator.
