Lazio court upholds revocation of Lotto outlet concession over late payments

Enforcement & compliance

The Regional Administrative Court of Lazio rejected a Lombardy Lotto outlet holder’s appeal and upheld the revocation of her concession, according to the court ruling. The dispute concerned repeated late transfers of game proceeds to the Treasury, which the holder later settled along with the related penalties. The court also ordered her to pay €1,500 in legal costs to the administration.

The ruling confirms that repeated late remittances can lead to loss of a public Lotto concession despite later payment.
