Rush Street Interactive targets Alberta BetRivers launch by Q2 or Q3

Licences & markets

Rush Street Interactive CEO Richard Schwartz said the company hopes to launch BetRivers in Alberta around the end of Q2 or early Q3. He said the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission had published regulations and opened licensing registration, and that RSI had applied for a provincial licence.

The proposed timing gives operators and suppliers an indication of when Alberta’s regulated online gambling market could open.

End-of-day close Rush Street Interactive (RSI), USD, to 2 April 2026
