iGaming Ontario targets 2026 launch for province-wide self-exclusion system
iGaming Ontario plans to launch a central self-exclusion system for Ontario online gambling players in 2026, CEO Joseph Hillier said. Hillier said the agency expects a public launch around the middle of the year; the system is intended to include licensed operators and Ontario Lottery and Gaming, while individual operator programmes will remain required.
The system is intended to let players exclude themselves across participating online gambling operators through one process.
