Nevada court suspends Kalshi operations for 14 days over event contracts

Enforcement & compliance

Nevada’s First Judicial District Court ordered Kalshi to stop operating in the state for 14 days, following a request by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB). The order bars contracts tied to sports, elections and entertainment and prevents people under 21 from placing bets; it remains in force until a hearing scheduled for 3 April.

The order prevents Kalshi from offering event contracts in Nevada while the state’s case proceeds.
