KSA orders Polymarket to stop offering prediction markets in the Netherlands

Enforcement & compliance

The Dutch gambling regulator KSA ordered Adventure One QSS, which trades as Polymarket, to stop offering prediction markets to customers in the Netherlands, saying they are illegal games of chance. Non-compliance could trigger a weekly penalty of €420,000, capped at €840,000; the KSA said it could also impose a separate turnover-related fine later.

The order requires Polymarket to withdraw its Dutch offering or face weekly penalties.
