KSA orders Polymarket to pay up to €840,000 over Dutch gambling offer

Enforcement & compliance

The Netherlands’ KSA imposed a penalty payment on Adventure One’s Polymarket brand for offering games of chance to Dutch players without a local licence, the authority said. The payment is €420,000 per week, up to €840,000, after Polymarket did not remove its offerings following prior contact from the regulator. The KSA said it may impose a turnover-related fine later.

The penalty payment creates recurring financial exposure after Polymarket failed to remove unlicensed games for Dutch players.
