Campania court annuls Naples police revocation of betting licence

Regulation

The Campania Regional Administrative Court annulled the Naples police authority’s revocation of a betting collection licence for a venue in the city. The court found that the grounds cited were known, or could have been known, when the licence was granted in April 2025, and the authority had not identified new public-interest reasons for revoking it.

The ruling reinstates the licence after the court found the authority lacked grounds arising after its original decision.
