VGCCC sets out three-year gambling harm prevention plan for Victoria
Victoria's Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) released Strategy 2029, a three-year plan to address gambling harm in the state. Chief executive Suzy Neilan said the commission would use technology, data, research and intelligence to identify risks earlier. The first year will focus on the Australian government's gambling reforms and clarifying regulatory expectations.
Operators may face closer scrutiny as the VGCCC develops its approach to identifying risks and enforcing legal obligations.
