Queensland’s government set out a 2026–28 action plan to reduce gambling harm and support affected people. Its priorities are education, support, research and regulation, including new services for vulnerable communities and early intervention for young people. The Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation is also seeking lived-experience contributions to consultations on gambling harm.

The plan and consultation may shape providers’ harm-prevention practices and the support services available in Queensland.
