TRF3 suspends Stake injunction restoring Brazil betting ban
TRF3 president Johonsom Di Salvo suspended an injunction that had allowed Stake to continue operating temporarily in Brazil, restoring the effects of provisional measure 1,394/2026. The court acted on a request from the Union; the suspension lasts until the final judgment in Stake’s case or a further decision by the court’s presidency. Stake’s opposition to the request was rejected.
The ruling removes Stake’s temporary protection from the nationwide suspension of fixed-odds betting operations.
