TRF3 suspends Casa de Apostas authorisation in Brazil

Regulation

The president of Brazil’s Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region suspended a decision restoring CDA Gaming’s authorisation to operate fixed-odds betting, reportedly on 6 November. The ruling extends an earlier suspension involving Stake and removes the exception that had allowed Casa de Apostas to operate while other licences were inactive. The court president said he was not reviewing the underlying merits of the earlier decision.

The suspension ends Casa de Apostas’ reported status as the only regulated betting brand operating in Brazil.
