Supreme Court allows Alberta to intervene in Ontario liquidity appeal
Canada’s Supreme Court has allowed Alberta to intervene in the appeal over Ontario’s ability to connect peer-to-peer gaming with players in other jurisdictions, according to the case update. Alberta may file a factum of up to 10 pages by 25 May and make an oral argument of up to five minutes at a future hearing.
Alberta’s intervention brings the province’s forthcoming regulated iGaming market into the legal dispute over pooled liquidity.
