Supreme Court adds Loto-Québec to Ontario iGaming liquidity appeal

Regulation

Canada’s Supreme Court has allowed Loto-Québec to join as an appellant in the case over Ontario’s proposed international liquidity for peer-to-peer gaming, according to the case update. It joins Atlantic Lottery Corporation, British Columbia Lottery Corporation and Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries in challenging the Ontario Court of Appeal’s November ruling.

The appeal could determine whether Ontario can connect online poker and other peer-to-peer games with players abroad.
