Kahnawà:ke council withdraws from Supreme Court liquidity appeal

Regulation

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has decided not to seek leave to intervene in the Supreme Court of Canada case over Ontario’s cross-border iGaming liquidity model. The council said its views would be represented by other intervenors and that further participation would not be an effective use of its resources.

The case will determine whether Ontario can link peer-to-peer iGaming players across borders, affecting the province’s liquidity model.
