Sisal ranked first among Italy's betting and casino websites in Casaleggio Associati's July e-commerce ranking, according to the report. Its index was 10,000, ahead of Goldbet at 3,697 and Planetwin365 at 3,274; the study reported sector growth of 19.7% in 2026 and spending above €6bn after winnings.
The ranking gives operators a measure of competitors' relative site popularity in Italy.

Lottomatica led Italy’s retail sports-betting market in September, reportedly, with a 45.2% share. Turnover reached €500 million, up 14% year on year, while player spending was €59 million, a 17% increase; Flutter held 29.8% and Eurobet 16.4%.
Italian online sports betting, including virtual bets, recorded €156.2 million in spending in July 2026, according to the report. Lottomatica led with 31% of spending share, followed by Sisal at 22.1% and Snaitech at 10.4%.
Italy’s online betting market recorded €134.95 million in spend in July 2026, up 32.7% year on year, according to operator data compiled in the report. Lottomatica led with a 29.58% share, followed by Sisal at 21.24% and bet365 at 11.48%.
Online casino spending in Italy reached €304 million in July 2026, up 15.3% from the same month a year earlier, according to reported market figures. Lottomatica held a 31.10% share of spending, ahead of Sisal at 13.69% and Eurobet at 7.74%.
It was reported that AGIC called for reform of Italy’s physical gambling market to receive urgent attention. The association represents concessionaires including bet365, Brightstar, Eurobet, Lottomatica and Sisal.
