Pragmatic Play releases Rat Royale slot with 15,000x maximum win

Pragmatic Play has released a new slot game called Rat Royale, the supplier announced. The game is set in a dark, ruined kingdom ruled by humanoid rats, with the rat king seated beside the reels on a pile of gold, according to the company's description of the title.

Rat Royale uses a 5x5 grid with 259 paylines, medium volatility and an RTP of 96.52%. Bets range from 0.20 to 240, and the maximum win is 15,000x.

The Wild is shown as a golden W. It stands in for every regular symbol and boosts wins with a multiplier ranging from 1x to 100x. The game's rules also state that a single reel can hold a maximum of three Wilds.

The rat king serves as both the Scatter and the Rat King Wild. Rat King Wilds are color-coded and appear in four variants, and they can only land on reel 3. A multiplier of up to 500x may be attached to these symbols, and it applies to all wins the symbol is involved in.

The color of a Rat King Wild determines which power it brings. Red Gem expands, potentially stretching across the whole reel; it activates when the spin has produced at least one winning payline, and every high-paying symbol visible on the screen raises its multiplier by 1x. Purple Gem takes the multipliers of all ordinary Wilds on the screen and adds them to its own. Green Gem does the reverse, contributing its multiplier to every regular Wild on the screen. Blue Gem converts each rat symbol that holds a blue gem into a Wild.

When three to five Scatters land, one of three bonus variants begins, and each opens with 10 spins at no cost. Blood Ritual comes from three Scatters and guarantees every Wild a multiplier of at least 2x. Four Scatters launch Blood Pact, which fixes a Rat King Wild to the grid's middle cell; the gem's color shifts with each spin, and any multipliers gained stay for the whole round. Blood Lust needs five Scatters and mirrors Blood Pact, except the middle Rat King symbol grows until it covers the full reel. Three Scatters appearing mid-bonus grant 5 extra spins.
