Pragmatic Play launches Sweet Bonanza POP slot with 25,000x top prize

Pragmatic Play has released Sweet Bonanza POP, which joins the supplier's expanding POP line, according to the company. The title carries over the Sweet Bonanza identity and adds Candy Bomb multipliers, extra bonus rounds and a top prize of 25,000x, the announcement states.

Play takes place on a 3x5 layout, and players collect prizes by landing five to nine or more symbols anywhere across the cascading reels. A bonus round begins with 10 bonus games when three or more lollipop scatters or POP symbols appear together, and landing two or three scatters while the feature is running can bring in five to 10 more.

Starting the bonus game with one, two or three POP symbols also awards an instant prize of 50x, 500x or the maximum 25,000x respectively. The bonus game introduces Candy Bomb multipliers worth up to 1,000x; at the end of each cascade sequence, the multiplier values collected are added together and applied to the total prize for that spin.

Sharon McHugh, director of public relations at Pragmatic Play, said Sweet Bonanza is one of the most recognisable titles in the company's catalogue, and that bringing it into the POP universe was an opportunity to evolve a player favourite while keeping the elements that made it successful. She added that Sweet Bonanza POP combines the personality and colour of the POP brand with multipliers and a trio of instant jackpots.
