A Blask study of the Spanish market found that blackjack accounted for 38.33% of the game searches analysed in August, while representing 0.92% of the content in licensed operators' catalogues in October. The analysis covered search interest in 518 games, the catalogues of 74 licensed operators and those of 319 unlicensed operators, according to the report.
Slots made up 82.8% of licensed operators' catalogues in the October snapshot, down from 87.0% in January, while the share of live games rose from 3.1% to 7.9% between January and 12 October, an increase of about 2.6 times. Among offshore operators in the October analysis, live games accounted for 9.27% of catalogues, crash games for 3.71% against 1.41% among licensed operators, and slots for 77.95%.
A separate analysis of the home pages of 69 licensed and 292 offshore operators found that at least one live casino title appeared among the top 30 positions for 57% of licensed operators and 58% of offshore operators. Among operators with a live game in that space, the median position of the first such title was fifth for licensed operators and 14th for offshore operators. A live casino title featured among the 10 most visible games across all sections for 46% of licensed operators, compared with 21% of offshore operators.
Pragmatic Play had the largest catalogue share in both segments, at 15.25% among licensed operators and 11.24% among offshore operators. Four suppliers appeared in the top-10 supplier lists of both groups: Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Play'n GO and Hacksaw Gaming. Three titles appeared in both rankings of the games most frequently placed in operators' top 10 positions: Big Bass Splash, Book of Dead and Gates of Olympus Super Scatter.
The report, titled "España: comparativa de la oferta de juegos entre operadores con licencia y sin licencia (offshore)", combines Blask data on search interest, catalogue composition and game placement. Search interest refers to August 2026, while the main catalogue snapshot and game placement data are dated 12 October 2026. Blask said the sample size varies by metric, that share of interest measures a game's proportion of total search demand for game-related queries, and that catalogue share is calculated from game listings and does not represent betting share, player numbers or revenue. Operator rankings are based on Blask data on licence status in Spain.
