Nevada judge dissolves Kalshi injunction over sports event contracts
A Nevada federal judge dissolved an injunction that had blocked state regulators from treating Kalshi’s sports event contracts as illegal gambling. Judge Andrew Gordon ruled that Kalshi’s registration with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission does not shield it from state oversight; Kalshi said it expects to appeal to the Ninth Circuit.
