Nevada judge bars Kalshi betting contracts for 14 days
A Nevada judge issued a 14-day restraining order barring Kalshi from offering betting contracts on sports, elections or entertainment events, according to the report. The Nevada Gaming Control Board sought the order, and the judge found that Kalshi operated a sports pool without the required state licence. A further hearing was scheduled for 3 April.
The order temporarily prevents Kalshi from offering event contracts in Nevada while the licensing dispute proceeds.
