Naples study finds 51% of surveyed young people cannot distinguish legal gambling
A study presented in Naples found that 51% of the young people surveyed said they could not tell a legal gambling venue from an illegal one, according to research coordinator Laura D’Angeli. The research examined factors influencing gambling among minors and also reported a gap between parents’ and children’s views of their relationships.
The findings point to an information gap relevant to prevention efforts concerning minors and gambling venues.
