NamRA and GBN sign gambling oversight agreement in Namibia
Namibia’s revenue agency, NamRA, and the Gambling Board of Namibia signed an MoU in Windhoek on 9 March 2026 to improve oversight of the gambling sector. The agencies plan to strengthen checks on gambling equipment imports, share intelligence, conduct joint investigations and coordinate enforcement; GBN will train NamRA officials.
The agreement sets out coordinated border checks and enforcement that could affect gambling equipment imports and operator compliance in Namibia.
