South Africa NLC and Tanzania GBT sign lottery oversight agreement

South Africa’s National Lotteries Commission and Tanzania’s Gaming Board signed a memorandum of understanding on 7 July to cooperate on national lottery regulation and oversight. The NLC said the agreement provides for information sharing and exchange of regulatory practices, including discussions on digital lottery channels.

The agreement creates a framework for the two regulators to share information on lottery oversight and digital channels.

Brazil's MJSP signs digital advertising oversight agreement with Conar

Brazil's Ministry of Justice and Public Security has signed a cooperation agreement with the National Council for Advertising Self-Regulation (Conar) to reinforce regulation of digital advertising. The agreement, Cooperation Agreement No. 1/2026/GAB-SENACON/SENACON, was introduced on 20 July by the National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon) and the National Secretariat for Digital Rights (Sedigi). The government said the deal is intended to help the National Consumer Protection System coordinate more effectively with Brazil's self-regulation regime.
