Lotenal and UIF sign information-sharing agreement for Mexico gaming sector
Lotería Nacional and Mexico’s Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) signed a technical cooperation and information-sharing agreement in Mexico City, the government said. The agreement provides for joint working groups, training and coordination to support the prevention and detection of illicit funds in the gaming industry.
The agreement could shape anti-money-laundering coordination and compliance expectations for gaming operators in Mexico.
