Massachusetts judge allows Kalshi sports-contract injunction to proceed
A Massachusetts Superior Court judge rejected Kalshi’s request for an emergency stay, allowing an injunction restricting its sports-related contracts in the state to proceed. The order gives Kalshi 30 days to implement controls; the company said it would pursue an appeal, while the injunction leaves non-sports contracts unaffected.
Kalshi must restrict Massachusetts users’ access to sports contracts and introduce location-based controls within 30 days.
