Federal judge allows negligence claim against Rivers Casino Philadelphia to proceed
A US federal judge has allowed customers’ negligence claim against Rivers Casino Philadelphia to proceed over a January cyberattack. Judge Joshua D. Wolson found the allegations of inadequate data protection and subsequent attempted fraud plausible, but dismissed claims including breach of contract and invasion of privacy.
