Buenos Aires' Provincial Lottery and Casinos Institute formally declared the Necochea casino tender for modernising and operating its slot machines unsuccessful, according to the report. The original tender covered a 20-year operating period and received no bids for Necochea; no date has been announced for a new call. Fernando Hansen of AMS Casinos said workers expect the process to proceed.
Reportedly, a company linked to the private investment fund Octium submitted the only offer for the 15-year operating permit at Casino de Coquimbo. Casino de Juegos de Coquimbo S.A., incorporated on 7 May 2026 with capital of CLP800m, presented its technical and economic offer at a Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego hearing on Tuesday. The permit was opened after Enjoy gave up the licence, a decision the SCJ authorised during 2025.
Evolution’s board advised shareholders against accepting Candle Lake’s takeover bid. Directors said the SEK695-per-share offer undervalues Evolution, while its shares traded at approximately SEK833.
