Lotteritilsynet warns Norsk Rikstoto over four gambling safeguards

Enforcement & compliance

Norway’s Lotteritilsynet warned Norsk Rikstoto that daily fines may follow if it fails to correct four responsible-gambling breaches identified in an inspection, the regulator said. Proposed fines are NOK 5,000 per day for three breaches and NOK 10,000 per day for the rollover issue; they could start on 1 April and 16 May 2026, respectively.

Norsk Rikstoto faces daily penalties unless it remedies the identified safeguards failures by the regulator’s deadlines.
