Lotteritilsynet investigates Norsk Rikstoto over 23,716 unpaid bets
Norway’s Lotteritilsynet is investigating Norsk Rikstoto after system failures accepted 23,716 unpaid bets from more than 5,000 customers between 3 and 5 February, with a further incident on 25 March. The regulator requested an account of both incidents and questioned the operator’s late notification; the estimated loss is €100,000 to €200,000, and the investigation is ongoing.
The investigation could lead to regulatory action and requires the operator to account for betting-pool and reporting failures.
