Lazio regional administrative court annuls bingo concession extension terms for 2023-2024

The Lazio Regional Administrative Court accepted a company's appeal and annulled ADM's 30 May 2023 measure governing bingo concession extensions for 2023-2024. The court found the fixed-fee extension system incompatible with EU principles; ADM must set a new compensation amount for the period, taking concessionaires' revenues and the balance of the relationship into account.

Bingo concessionaires may face a recalculated payment for 2023-2024 rather than the annulled fixed-fee terms.

Lazio regional court interrupts Oxford’s bingo concession appeal

The Lazio Regional Administrative Court interrupted Oxford S.r.l.’s appeal concerning the loss of its bingo concession, in an order following a hearing on 22 September 2026. The court acted after Oxford filed a Rome court ruling opening judicial liquidation proceedings against the company; the appeal may be resumed or refiled after notice of the interruption.
