La Liga has named Polymarket its official and exclusive prediction market partner in Canada and the US under a multi-year deal, reportedly announced on 6 April 2026. The agreement includes promotional rights and joint work on sporting integrity; Polymarket cannot accept deposits or trades or advertise in Ontario under a settlement with the Ontario Securities Commission.

The partnership covers Canada while Polymarket remains unable to accept trades or advertise in Ontario.

Prediction-market platforms report election contract trading during US midterms

Prediction-market platforms were trading contracts on control of the US House and Senate during the 3 November midterm elections, according to the report. It cited Kalshi and Polymarket prices at 10:32 a.m. ET and said no results had been reported by then. The report also described third-quarter figures from Robinhood, including $173 million in event-contract revenue and 16.4 billion contracts traded.
