The Philadelphia 76ers and Kalshi have reportedly entered a multi-year agreement that makes Kalshi an official partner of the team.
For 76ers fans at the October 30 Knicks game, Kalshi will cover SEPTA rides once it ends. Activations aimed at fans will let them win merchandise and concessions for free.
Both Kalshi and Polymarket already have tie-ups announced with the NBA. From the NBA's perspective, the alliance helps it monitor data and spot unusual betting patterns that point to corruption. Separately, a commercial arrangement lets the companies make use of NBA signage and branding.
Utah is the latest state to take action against Kalshi and Polymarket. Authorities there filed a criminal complaint that charges Kalshi and its co-founders with felonies. Kalshi says it expects to beat the illegal gambling allegations, noting that it has already won similar fights elsewhere in the country.
The company said responsible innovation depends on leagues, exchanges and regulators cooperating. It described this partnership as bringing that cooperation to life through official data, stronger integrity protections and an open marketplace in which fans determine prices.
