Enforcement & compliance

The Netherlands’ Kansspelautoriteit issued another warning to SCGO Limited, which operates as Vbet, after finding live bets on events including throw-ins, fouls, corners and offsides during the football World Cup. Vbet removed the markets after the authority raised the issue; the KSA said further breaches could lead to sanctions.

Licensed operators face renewed scrutiny over prohibited in-play betting markets during the tournament.
